Who we are

MacroPilot (“we”, “us”) is operated by [Company legal name], [Jurisdiction]. For any privacy question, contact support@macropilot.app.

What we collect

• Account: username, display name, and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself). Your role (client / coach) and which coach you are assigned to.
• What you log: food entries and their estimated macros, a daily calories-burned figure, body-composition scans, your daily targets, timezone, appearance preferences, and your Lifestyle Survey answers.
• Photos you upload for food or scan parsing (see “Third parties”).
• Technical: sign-in events including approximate IP address and browser user-agent, and a periodically updated “last active” timestamp — used for account security and to show a coach whether a client is still engaged.

How we use it

• To run the service and show you your own data.
• To show your assigned coach your logged data, adherence and trends.
• To generate the automated Insights analysis from your logged data.
• To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties (sub-processors)

• Anthropic — the text and images you submit for food parsing, nutrition-label reading, scan reading and the Insights analysis are sent to Anthropic's API to be processed. Do not upload photos containing information you would not want processed this way.
• Turso — hosts the database where your data is stored.
• Vercel — hosts and serves the application.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (rt_session) to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See the Cookies page.

Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. Sign-in event history is retained for a rolling period for security purposes. [Confirm exact periods.] On deletion, your logged data is removed; audit-log entries recording administrative actions may be retained in anonymised form.

Your choices

• Export: download a full JSON backup or per-table CSV from Settings at any time.
• Correct: edit or delete any entry yourself; ask your coach or an administrator to correct account details.
• Delete: request account deletion by emailing support@macropilot.app.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, portability, objection, complaint to a supervisory authority).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
